The Warrior Princess is an award-winning short documentary following nationally recognized boxing coach Angel Villarreal Jr. and amateur boxer Violet Lopez over a five-year period as they pursue excellence in the sport of boxing. Their story is rooted in a coaching relationship that began when Violet stepped into the gym at eight years old and has continued for more than 11 years.

Together, the coach-athlete duo has captured 11 USA Boxing National Championship titles, including back-to-back USA Boxing Youth National Championships that earned Violet a spot on Team USA's Youth National Boxing Team. The film explores the bond between coach and athlete and the discipline, sacrifice, and perseverance required to compete at the highest levels of amateur boxing.

Since its release, The Warrior Princess has been featured on the TODAY Show and screened at film festivals across the United States. The documentary was awarded Best Short Film at the 2022 Milwaukee Film Festival. The documentary reflects the values that continue to define RREAL Athletics: long-term development, meaningful mentorship, and the pursuit of excellence through sport.
